ORLANDO, Fla. (July 28, 2016) – Renowned New York metropolitan-area instructor Jason Birnbaum, one of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in Your State” for 2015-’16, is scheduled to appear as a guest instructor on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive August 2 and 3.

The popular daily morning show airs from 7-9 a.m. Eastern.

Birnbaum, the owner of Jason Birnbaum Golf, and director of golf instruction at Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack, N.Y., is one of the inaugural coaches in Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities. Select Golf Channel Academy coaches are being invited to appear on the network’s news and instruction shows, including The Golf Fix and School of Golf; Birnbaum is making his first appearance on Morning Drive.

“It’s been a long-time desire of mine to appear on Morning Drive and I look forward to sharing my favorite golf tips and drills with the viewers at home,” said Birnbaum, a three-time member of Golf Digest’s “Best Young Teachers” rankings (Top 40 Under 40). “It’s been a great experience to be a part of the Golf Channel Academy network of coaches. A 15-year teaching veteran, Birnbaum has vast experience coaching all levels of golfers, from beginners to elite juniors to professionals on the PGA, European PGA and Web.com Tours. He has taught abroad in such countries as Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Italy and Colombia, and been recognized several times by U.S. Kids Golf as an Honorable Mention Top 50 Instructor.

Jason previously served as the director of instruction at the New Jersey Golf Academy in Roseland, N.J., and at Alpine Country Club in Demarest, N.J.
