Jason Birnbaum
Golf Teaching Professional
 A resident of Oradell, New Jersey, Jason Birnbaum graduated with a BA in Business Management from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Jason began his teaching career at Manhattan Woods Golf Club as an apprentice for Golf Magazine "Top 100" Teacher Mitchell Spearman. He gained valuable experience and learned first hand from Mitchell what it takes to teach at the highest level. With this pedigree behind him Jason has developed a deep and extensive understanding of how to help others improve their golf game. As a golf professional, Birnbaum has spent the past several seasons working with all levels of golfers, including professionals on the PGA Tour, European PGA Tour, and Nationwide Tour. He was the director of the Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Program from 2003-2007, where he oversaw the opening and operation of new junior facilities throughout the northeast. Jason's teaching experiences have taken him around the country teaching on an individual and group basis as well as on corporate golf trips. Some of his corporate clients have included Mercedes Benz and Bank of America, among others. In the recent past he has taught in Canada and abroad in Spain and Portugal, and has been featured in a variety of local golf publications that include the Met Golfer Magazine, New Jersey State Golf Association Magazine, and The Bergen Record. Jason currently spends the spring and summer months as a golf teaching professional at Alpine Country Club in Demarest, New Jersey. Throughout the winter months Jason is the Director of Golf Instruction at the Manhattan Athletic Club, providing indoor golf instruction in midtown Manhattan throughout the year. |
